Habacoa Development Project

EIA Submission

The Public is advised that the Environmental Impact Assessment document (EIA) for the Habacoa project was filed with the Department of Environmental Planning and Protection (DEPP) by Tyrsoz Family Holdings Limited.

The Development will include residences, hotels, golf course and a marina and is located at Lantern-Head and South West Point, in South Abaco.
Having held three public meetings in Abaco in April and December 2019, the consultive process in respect of this project has been completed in accordance with regulation 9 and therefore no further public meetings will be held.

The Environmental Impact Assessment, the Economic Impact Assessment and the Public Consultation Report can be downloaded in the Document section of this website.
The period for public comments on the Environmental Impact Assessment has terminated. General comments regarding this development outside the scope of the EIA can still be provided to the Developer by using the Feedback section of this website.
